I love this place! You can raw seafood and cook it at the restaurant.

Probably the biggest market area in Hachinohe. Has all the local souvenirs from fresh seafood to a huge assortment of sweets and snacks. Be sure to feed yourself fat here with awesome seafood meals that cost way less than Tokyo!

Huge fish market! You can also rent a charcoal grill then go shopping for fresh seafood, then bring it back to grill and cook it yourself! Absolutely great experience!

They have an amazing play area on the second floor for kids! Lots of things to see, sample, and buy! It's definitely a place you could explore for a long time!

lots of delicious nummies. there are restaurants that open past 5-6pm, and while the market looks completely closed, the restaurants are open and the lights can only be seen from the back road.

Love this place! A great collection of food from the region, an awesome market, and snacks to be had. Worth an hour or two of your Aomori Visit. Strongly recommend the omelettes and the bakery!

To be able to buy fresh seafood and then grill it is perfect. Also some of the best samon sashimi I have had all tenderloin cuts OMG! 🤯

You can grill seafood which you bought in market and have nice meal. 350yen per person for seats. Nice atmosphere. BBQ set is around 1500yen and this can be for serving 2 persons. There is rice, soup and beers etc too. Reasonable pricing. There is also some restaurant too. Many shops for seafoods and also vegetables, beers, tea and instant food too. Absolutely worth to go there as tourism or for daily lunch or dinner.

One of the big ten fish markets in Japan. The draw here is that you can buy the fish fresh and cook it yourself on one of the grills that's provided by this place. Truly a good all-all-around experience.

Fav food, good place

The food sold in the foot court is terrible. But once you enter the market area everything is different. The souvenir products are cheap and the seafood are fresh and inexpensive.

Love this place. It's so unique with amazing seafood to purchase. There is also a great alcohol selection.

Large fish market that has a BBQ place where you can cook your own seafood once bought at the stalls.The BBQ cost 350yen per person and you get all the utensils you need . They use real charcoal as well. They also serve beer here.At the stalls you can find any seafood imaginable at reasonable prices.If you don't want to cook yourself there are about 6-7 restaurant's at the end of the market.

Awesome fresh seafood market! Plenty of vendors. Large selection of all kinds of seafood. If you get hungry, there's even a restaurant where you can cook your own seafood over a wood coal grill for a small charge of ¥350 per person. Some vendors also sell dried or smoked items. Well worth a visit.

This my be the cleanliest and the most smell fresh fish market I have ever visited. Food variety are splendid and can compare to most big department store supermarket but prices are much cheaper. It outperform supermarkets by having BBQ facilities for a reasonable rental on charcoal grills to enjoy a 2 hours fun experience. You can grill whatever you bought from the market or you can have choice on ready made foods like sushi or sashimi or donburi from the restaurants at the other end of the market under the same roof. All in all, this food center itself is a great tourist spot on its own and may be a sole reason to visit Hachinohe.

If you are foreigner and like seafood, you should go here. Especially, you can eat fresh seafood at here. This market has butcher's shop, Japanese-sake shop, cake shop, and so on. This market can satisfy your stomach!

Huge, expansive warehouse filled with a multitude of stores offering all kinds of fresh seafood and other local produce!Easy to spend hours wandering the aisles and wondering what everything is. There's free samples around too!

I keep going back for the stingray and lala...bbq chicken wing...lunch time I go for bah kut teh and pork trotter...

Fish market which can enjoy raw fishes

you don't have to get there until you try harder.It's like where you can get everywhere you visit in Japan.the best inside is "Genmai softcream" ! you can view it in my photos there."Genmai"'s like covered rice and can be written "玄米"!

fresh sea food and nice price

travel to Japan quite a bit and aomori has one of the best, fresh seafood and easy on the wallet. you can buy raw and bbq straight away. initially worried about the bbq smell but was surprised that it was ok after we walked out. ample parking space when we went at 3pm.

A bit too touristy for my taste, but interesting for foreign tourists.

This was a fun place. Lots of seafood to look at. I gave it 5 stars because I wasn't disappointed with anything and it met my expectations.
